Dalia Dippolito- Relationship, Married Life

In 2009, Dalia Dippolito married Mike Dippolito. Dalia was apprehended six months later in a sting operation conducted by the Boynton Beach Police Department, the circumstances of which will be discussed further in this article. Mike and Dalia divorced during Dalia’s trial in 2011.

Dalia was previously involved with Mohammed Shihadeh. As we will discover later, she plotted many of her murder attempts with him.

Dalia began dating Robert Davis, with whom she had a son, while she was under house arrest. Detectives and case observers speculate that Dalia became pregnant on purpose in order to use her pregnancy as a reason for her trial.

Incident with Dalia Dippolito

Dalia married Michael Dippolito, whom we shall refer to as Mike from now on for convenience. Mike and Dalia married and relocated to Florida to begin their new life together. Dalia kept in touch with her ex-boyfriend Mohammed Shihadeh, who shall be referred to as Mohammed from now on.

Dalia and her ex-boyfriend, Mohammed, devised a few crazy plots to frame Mike and have him arrested. She conspired with Mohammed on multiple occasions, to the point where Mike got suspicious of the number of times he was stopped by police.

Within the first two months of their marriage, Dalia attempted to murder her husband three times. He once tried to mix Anti-Freeze into his tea. Despite being an accomplice, Mohammed was the whistleblower who alerted the police department to Dalia’s intentions.

Mohammed did this because he realized Dalia was not joking when she said she was going to murder her husband. He told the officers everything out of conscience, which resulted in repeated sting operations by the Boyton Police Department.

In 2009, an undercover cop pretended to be a hitman and offered to kill her husband for $ 7000. Based on Mohammed’s information, the operation was carried out, and the officer repeatedly asked her to affirm her intentions.

Later that year, police investigators and detectives informed Dalia that her husband had been killed in a shoot-out during an event that Dalia had organized. The woman’s false reaction was recorded and released to YouTube by the Police Department. Her reactions were obviously not real.

It all started when Mike was instructed by the police that he needed to encourage Dalia to attend the gym. When Dalia arrived at the gym, she was approached by the police department, who informed her that Mike had been killed. They took her to the police station, where she was questioned about her lying by the detective, and she was detained.

In her first trial, she was charged with and convicted of solicitation to commit first-degree murder on June 17, 2011. Dalia Dippolito’s case was presided over by Judge Glenn Kelley, who indicated that he considered her intents entirely diabolical and sentenced her to 20 years in jail.

Dalia said in the first trial that she was merely pretending to win a part in a television show with her husband Mike. She told the jury that Mike was also participating, however, it was later revealed that immediately after the first sting operation, Dalia called Mike to inform him that she had been framed and had been directed to utter all of the lines shown on the film. When the state attorneys asked why she would contact him again in that fashion if Mike was a part of the entire deception, they made a reasonable point.

Brian Claypool began representing Dalia shortly after her first trial and structured the second trial around the claim that the Boynton Beach Police Department framed Dalia Dippolito for publicity and PR goals. After an appeals court determined in 2014 that her first trial was unconstitutional, her second trial took place in 2016.

Brian told the jury at the second trial that the Police Department framed Dalia in order to increase TRP for their television show “Cops.” The police department disputed the allegations, arguing that they trusted the state attorneys and that the operation was successful, saving Mike’s life.

The second trial was canceled due to technicalities. Her third trial was held in 2017. Within 90 minutes of her third trial, Dalia was found guilty of soliciting first-degree murder and sentenced to 16 years in jail. Her attorneys attempted to file an appeal with the Supreme Court, but their plea was dismissed.
